I specialize in working with deep feelers who are navigating family-of-origin trauma and the overwhelming mental load of daily life. Whether you're someone who feels emotions more intensely than others seem to, recently discovered you are neurodivergent, or are carrying childhood wounds from emotionally neglectful relationships, you're in the right place. I help my clients understand they're not alone and they're not "too much." I'm here to help you connect with your emotions, recognize patterns, and build both self-compassion and practical tools for managing life's challenges.

As an ADHD woman myself, I understand the unique challenges of feeling different, overwhelmed, or like you're constantly falling short of expectations. I love helping client’s realize they're not alone and they're not "too much." My passion lies in working with clients who are ready to dig deep, explore their patterns, and understand how their past experiences shape their present relationships, especially those difficult dynamics with family members that still affect you today

I utilize EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help process both "big T" and "little t" traumas, including emotional abuse and neglect that may have been minimized but significantly shaped your self-perception. I also incorporate solution-focused strategies and practical support, particularly for emerging adults in their early-to-mid twenties who are figuring out how to navigate adulthood, and parents navigating the challenge of meeting everyone else's needs while also tending to their own.

I have a direct and compassionate approach, believing that genuine connection happens when I show up as a real person who happens to be a therapist, not the other way around - expect laughter and authentic moments alongside the deep work. I work best with clients who are engaged, curious about their inner world, and ready to challenge those negative thought patterns that keep them stuck in people-pleasing or self-criticism. I want to help you move from surviving to truly thriving in your relationships and daily life. I support individuals of all backgrounds, religions, cultures, sexual orientations, and gender expressions and aim to be a safe space for clients to be themselves.

Outside of life as a therapist, I spend my time with my husband, son, and pets (dog & cat). I consider myself a cat person but my sweet pup is the exception. I'm active in a local moms group, love my barre classes, and you'll often find my little family at our favorite coffee shop. My professional training was in nonprofit settings, focusing on child abuse victims and their families and adults with recent or past trauma. I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas at Dallas and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas.

I typically meet with clients in person, as I believe it strongly benefits the therapeutic relationship. I also offer tele-health sessions.
